"At the beginning of the economic crisis (back in 2009), most people chose to be more skeptical when it came to business investments. I chose a different path! I chose to open my Jiu Jitsu Academy (Arte Suave Academy) in my hometown, a small city of Greece, Lamia! As an Alliance athlete since day one (ca 2005), under the tutelage of my professor David Dimopoulos Said, Jiu Jitsu always was an amazing and fun experience.
However, it’s when you’re faced with the hard times that you realize just how great it is to be part of the best team in the history of our sport, part of Alliance Jiu Jitsu!
Alliance supported me with guidance not only in the technical part as an instructor/academy but with marketing and management tools & tips also! Being supported is a great feeling, especially when many things around you goes wrong.
In an always evolving sport like Jiu Jitsu, nobody knows everything! So, having an army of leadership guiding you and offering you a constructive criticism when you are doing something wrong (or with less efficiency), makes you think from many different perspectives than if you were alone!
But it’s not only the support that you have when you’re Alliance Jiu Jitsu Team member. As an academy, there’s the most important thing that measures how efficient your jiu jitsu and your work is “RESULTS” and the results are always good! My athletes are winning Nationals, Europeans and World Championship medals (JJIF)!
